Terms of Service for RunRide Studio

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RunRide Studio iOS and Android application and related services (collectively, the "App"), operated by RunRide Studio ("we", "our", or "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RunRide Studio provides iOS and Android home screen widgets and fitness visualization tools designed to help athletes display their athletic stats, goals, and gear. The App connects with supported third-party platforms (including Strava) and offers optional premium features ("RunRide Studio Pro") via in-app subscriptions.

3. Strava Connection & Third-Party Services

  • Account Connection: You connect your Strava account using OAuth authentication. By doing so, you authorize us to access your athlete profile and activity data solely to calculate, generate, and render widgets on your device.

  • Third-Party Compliance: Your use of Strava is subject to the Strava Terms of Service. RunRide Studio is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava, Inc.

  • Revoking Access: You can disconnect your Strava account at any time by tapping "Log out" within the App or revoking access directly in your Strava account settings.

    • 4. Pro Subscriptions & Payments

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. On iOS, you can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple Account Settings (or the App Store). On Android, cancellations are managed via Google Play account settings.

  • Refunds: All refund requests for purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policies and must be initiated through Apple Support. Refund requests for purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google Play refund policies and must be handled through Google Play support.

    • 5. Acceptable Use

    You agree to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App, or circumvent any technological protection or subscription verification mechanisms.

    6. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

    RunRide Studio is an informational and motivational display tool. The App does not provide medical, coaching, or health advice. Always consult a physician or qualified healthcare provider before starting or modifying any training or athletic regimen. You are solely responsible for your own health, safety, and physical activities.

    7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

    The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that widget updates or data synchronization will be uninterrupted, error-free, or real-time.

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunRide Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to use the App.

    8. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by uninstalling the App and disconnecting your account.

    9. Changes to These Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
